Did you know that Capital One Shopping can help you find even more savings and you don't even have to be a Capital One user to use it? It's a completely free tool to use and it will help you compare prices across all types of retailers. Think of all the great deals you can find all while supporting our mission to find loving homes for all the homeless pets in the area.
Supply drives are fun and easy to host. Collections are perfect for office team building church and civic group activities, and even birthday parties. If you wish to host a supply drive contact us so we can encourage others to donate and spread awareness.
Here are some tips to host a CARE supply drive:
1. Determine collection items and be specific. Contact CARE for a copy of our wishlist.
2. Strategically place collection bins near high traffic locations. Determine a day and time to have individuals drop-off their collection items.
3. Share and promote your drive. Spread the word with graphics shared on social media or emails to your team or group. Make sure you share our CARE wishlist. Keep everyone informed on your goal as well as the number of items that have already been collected. Share your drive by tagging CARE so we can cross post.
4. Deliver your donations. The final step is to take your supplies to CARE. Contacting CARE to schedule the drop off helps us plan for a thank you picture for us to share on our social media.
Most successful collection drives take 5-10 business days, including a minimum of 1 weekend, and not to exceed two weeks. This fosters a sense of urgency but also offers a bit of flexibility.
